Writer and blogger Jacalyn Wetzel has shared the horror of forgetting her newborn baby on the boot of her car. Asking that those who read about her harrowing experience do not judge her, she has received an outpouring of support.
Let’s face it, it’s a story most of us can relate to - life for most of us is stressful and extremely busy, with a thousand things on our minds and to-do lists as long as our arms, keeping it all together can be an extremely tough act.
Taking to Facebook, Wetzel who is from North Carolina, recalled the heart-breaking details of what she was going through at the time saying, “Once upon a time, I was a struggling single mom with a new-born baby and two small children, one of which was only 2 years old. I busted my butt to make sure my kids still got to do things they loved, like dance and soccer, and I made sure that I was the one to drop them off and pick them up from school.”
