In a time when the #metoo campaign has brought a slew of charges by female celebrities of sexual harassment against men in the entertainment industry, a female former employee has turned the tables and is accusing none other than Mariah Carey of sexual harassment. This is not the first time Mariah has had sexual harassment charges laid against her, you might recall that when the #metoo campaign was gaining momentum in late 2017, the 48 year old singer was accused of sexual harassment by her former personal body guard, Michael Annello.
According to reports on various entertainment news sites, Mariah Carey’s former manager, Stella Stolper, is apparently suing her for unfair dismissal, unpaid money and sexual harassment.
It is alleged by Stella that Mariah was always walking around naked in front of her and would do ‘sexual things’ in her presence.
The shocking claims, given the identity of the accused, will of course make tabloid news globally, but it is still a case of ‘he said, she said’ until proven otherwise. Mariah’s reason for terminating Stella’s appointment was because she was not doing her job properly.
Just a matter of days ago Mariah revealed to the public, her fans and the media, that she has been secretly battling bipolar ll disorder, a disorder which causes the sufferer to experience hypomanic episodes as well as depressive ones, since 2001. There has been speculation that Stella will use this against Mariah in her lawsuit.
