Mrs South Africa airlifted to Kathmandu

On the 2nd of April Mrs South Africa, Nicole Capper, left South Africa as part of an 18 day expedition to raise money for Rare diseases South Africa, a cause close to her heart as her 1 year old daughter Tatum has cystic fibrosis.

As of Saturday they had all reached base camp safely, but then news surfaced that Nicole was experiencing respiratory problems. She has since been airlifted to Kathmandu Hospital from the Mount Everest Base Camp.

However the good news is that the official Mrs South Africa pageant page confirmed that Capper is in a stable condition in a Twitter post: "Latest update: @MrsSA_Official @nicolejcapper is in a stable condition after being airlifted to Kathmandu hospital from Mount Everest Base Camp. Our prayers are with her (sic)" She is reported to be in good spirits.

Nicole is married to Brian Capper and is mom to 5 year old  Joshua and Tatum. She is a Functional Medicine Pharmacist passionate about health.
