The popular singer-songwriter, known for her powerful vocals and emotive lyrics walked away with the coveted award for Best Adult Contemporary Album at the 2023 SAMA Awards held Saturday night at the SunBet Arena in Menlyn, Pretoria.
The award is for her 7th studio album ‘Dark Secrets’, on which there were five different producers all bringing their unique style to the various tracks.
‘Nothing Feels Good Without You’ has featured on numerous top 10 charts around South Africa.
Carver took to Instagram to thank her crew saying: "Thank you to my team…We did it! Dark Secrets is a slow seduction written during a very unsexy time #lockdown "
