Much loved Afrikaans actor Paul Eilers died of a heart attack last week Friday in Oudtshoorn.
A giant in the industry, he will always be remembered for his roles in movies such as Sonkring, Vyfster, Paljas, Roepman, Stuur Groete Aan Mannetjies Roux, Dominee Tienie, and the television series Koöperasiestories.
Fellow actors and the community of Oudtshoorn have taken to social media to pay tribute to the talented actor. Paul and his wife Marina had moved to Oudtshoorn in 1995.
