Producer and composer, Lebo M, celebrates his 54th birthday today as well as the release of a song he collaborated on with Beyoncé and Hans Zimmer for the much anticipated new Lion King remake. The song, titled Spirit has a distinctly African feel and is, according to Lebo M, going to be a huge hit.
Lebo M finds himself in Los Angeles on the occasion of his birthday along with fellow Lion King star John Kani. They arrived in the City of Angels a couple of days ago to attend the 9th July star studded premiere of The Lion King at the Dolby Theatre which, much to the delight of fans and the media, featured a surprise visit by Beyoncé who walked the red carpet with her daughter Blu Ivy just before the carpet closed.
Lebo M shared much of the excitement with his fans on Twitter.
Congrats Lebo M! The movie will be released in cinemas across South Africa on the 19th July.
