Lea Michele laughs off tabloid reports of 'breakup binges'

Actress Lea Michele has mocked a new tabloid story detailing her so-called 'breakup binges' in an online video.While on a filming break from her hit TV horror series Scream Queens, the 30-year-old former Glee star picked up a tabloid and found herself the subject of an article inside that couldn't be further from the truth.She decided to film herself responding to the piece with a little help from her show co-stars Emma Roberts and John Stamos, who were relaxing with Lea between takes. In the video, posted by John Stamos to his Twitter account on Thursday (06Oct15), he asks Lea what she's reading while sitting next to Emma, who is apparently engrossed in something on her own cell phone."Lea's Breakup Binges," laughs Michele, who was clearly in such a good mood that she couldn't stop smiling while reading lines from the article out loud."She's been binging on pastas and baked goods and blowing off her regular workouts. She's put on 10 pounds! Oh my goodness," she quips in a mock-dramatic voice."It's taken a toll on her self-esteem and she's caught in a vicious cycle of binging!" she continues, trying hard not to giggle.Emma then joins in the conversation, and jokes to her pal, "What are we going to eat for lunch?" Without missing a beat, Lea answers, "Pasta and baked goods!", before all three stars laugh in unison.The video clearly shows that Lea, who split from actor Robert Buckley in July (16) after two months of dating, is looking and feeling fantastic with no evidence of any weight gain. And while she's obviously not binging on pasta or baked goods, she is busy trying out new health trends, most recently cupping. Later on Thursday, she posted a video on Snapchat showing her standing in front of a mirror with red cupping marks all over her back. Cupping dates back 3,000 years and has many celebrity fans, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Michael Phelps, although some medical experts remain unconvinced that the process, which is said to boost blood circulation to muscles, has any proven health benefits. Lea, though, seemed rather proud of her red marks, announcing in the video, "So today I did cupping... and now I have all these (marks)."Whether the treatment works or not, it's clear Lea has firmly moved on with her life, three years after the 2013 death of her then-boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith, who passed away from a drug overdose.
