It’s fake news according to Kylie Minogue, all it took was an excited ‘stepmother of the boyfriend’ to get fans all excited and the rumour mill going.
The pint-sized superstar has firmly quashed rumours of an engagement to boyfriend Paul Solomons - taking to social media the 52-year-old said that while they are very much in love, they are not engaged.
It all started last week Thursday when Paul’s stepmother Gloria told Mail Online she was "thrilled" the pair were engaged.
Then, Sky News reported that during the week, actress Billie Piper appeared to reveal Kylie was engaged to the GQ creative director when she referred to him as Kylie's "fiance" in an interview with ELLE UK.
But, from the horse's mouth came the message, along with plenty of emojis, stating that they are in love but not getting hitched. The singer and actress said emphatically that “rumours are getting out of hand.”

Kylie and her Welshman, who is six years younger than her, have been dating since 2018. Go on Paul, "if you like it, why not put a ring on it!"
