Engelbert Humperdinck's wife dies from COVID-19

Engelbert Humperdinck and Patricia Healey

The famous English pop singer and his family are  “heartbroken” over the death of 85-year-old Patricia Healey whom Humperdinck married in 1964. They had four children together.

Diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2007, Humperdinck announced on social media on February 4th that she had contracted COVID-19. Taking to Instagram he announced the devastating news of her death Saturday saying” Dear Friends, Please forgive the silence, after the unbelievable response to our plea for prayers. Our family is heartbroken over the loss of my darling wife. Last night, she slipped softly away, as if by Gods clockwork.”

His post said that she was surrounded by her children via Facetime and was given the last rites by family relation Father Paul.

Born Arnold George Dorsey; Humperdinck’s hit singles include Release Me and The Last Waltz, both topped the UK music charts in 1967, and sold more than a million copies each.

May you RIP Patricia Healey.
