As soon and kin Kardashian heard news of Kanye being hospitalised, she rushed to be at his side. Kim was scheduled to make her first public appearance since the robbery in Paris. The appearance she skipped would have been at the annual Angel Gala in honour of her late father Robert Kardashian.
According to NBC News, the Los Angeles police responded to a medical welfare call about 1:20 p.m. PT on Monday and West was hospitalized for his own health and safety. (LAPD media relations confirmed to Us that police responded to a disturbance call that turned into a medical emergency around 1:20 p.m. PT.) According to TMZ, the rapper was taken to UCLA Medical Center and was evaluated for severe sleep deprivation.
Kourtney, Khloe and Kris remained at the gala in representation of the family. Kris was asked about Kanye and her response was as follows, "He's just really tired."
