Kate Hudson announces birth of baby girl

On Wednesday, Kate Hudson announced the birth of her third child.

It's the first girl for Kate Hudson, who has two boys and the first child with musician boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.

The actress posted photo slides with a pink background showing the birthdate "10-2-18", the baby's name, which is Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa and why they chose the name.

Rani (pronounced Ronnie) is named after her paternal grandfather Ron Fujikawa who has passed on.
