British singer Kate Bush is reportedly nearly R38 million rand richer after her 1985 track, 'Running up that Hill' soared to the top of the UK charts after featuring in the fourth season of the hit Netflix series 'Stranger Things'.
According to the BBC,Bush told BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour “It’s just extraordinary. It's such a great series. I thought that the track would get some attention. But I just never imagined that it would be anything like this. It's so exciting. But it's quite shocking really, isn't it? I mean, the whole world's gone mad."

Bush topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks in 1978 at the age of 19 with her debut single "Wuthering Heights", becoming the first female artist to achieve a UK number one with a self-written song.
