The revered stage and TV actor who died in his sleep on Monday 23 May at the age of 55 will be laid to rest in a private funeral ceremony with family and close friends on June 1.
The popular Rythym City actor will also be paid tribute to at a memorial service on Monday, 6 June, from 16:00 - 20:00 at Zone 6 Venue in Soweto.
In posting the details on Facebook Hashatsi Productions said that the memorial service was open to the public “ as Jamie Bartlett was for the people and the people loved and appreciated him and his artistry.”

His partner Rosa Onious has told the media that an autopsy revealed he had died of cardiac arrest.
