It’s one of the most heart-warming pictures ever – James Middleton practising social distancing by staying at home in the company of his beloved pooches. Calling it the "best dinner party ever" the younger brother of Duchess Kate, set the table for dinner with his five dogs Ella, Zulu, Inka, Luna and Mabel. Each pooch sitting at the candle-lit table with a serviette around their necks and a bowl of pet food in front of them along with a glass of water. "Who wants to join?" James wrote. I’d like to try and get my pooches to sit around a table like that!

Just over a month ago, James took a break from social media for his mental health but recently returned to the platform, posting a picture of himself with his pooches in his specially adapted bicycle and writing, “We’re back ???? After a detox of all things social media Me, Ella & Co + our beloved bike are back. It’s been over a year now since writing publicly about my experiences with clinical depression & how my dogs played a vital role in my recovery. This year I want to focus on hi-lighting how amazing dogs really are, not just from a pet perspective, but how your physical & mental health can benefit too. (and much more)"
In January of last year, Middleton went public with his private lifelong battle with depression through a thought-provoking and heartbreakingly honest article for The Daily Mail saying “I know I’m richly blessed and live a privileged life. But it did not make me immune to depression. It is tricky to describe the condition. It is not merely sadness. It is an illness, a cancer of the mind.”
