It was a rare sighting on Monday when Jack Nicholson and his son, Ray, made an appearance together at the Staples Centre where the Los Angeles Lakers were taking on the Golden State Warriors. Considered to be one of the greatest actors of all time, in fact, he has the most Oscar nominations of any actor in history, the famous A-lister has become something of a recluse, rarely being seen out in public these days.
His last movie, the rom-com Do you know, was back in 2010 and it did not do well at the box office. Naturally, he is in the enviable position of not having to work and he can, of course, pick and choose his roles. Word in the industry is that if the right movie were to come along he might be tempted. But in the meantime, he is enjoying doing whatever he likes at the ripe old age of 81.
For the outing, Nicholson wore his trademark rose coloured sunglasses and the two were photographed enjoying fries and what seemed to be giant burgers. Even though he was dressed all in black, it was clear that Jack has picked up a pound or two. You might just want to hold off on that junk food a wee bit Jack!
