Ariana's 7 Rings brings backlash

Ariana Grande's latest single 7 Rings has come under fire from rappers such as Princess Nokia and Soulja Boy.

The two have accused her of stealing the song.

Plagiarism accusation aside, she has also been attacked for sharing a story to her IG account made by a fan.

The Fan quoted the following lines from 7 rings, "You like my hair, Gee, thanks, just bought it."

In addition to the posted lyric, the fan posted the following, "White women talking about their weaves is how we're gonna solve racism."

Many fans did not react well to the repost.

Arianna removed the post as swiftly as she posted it but the damage has already been done after the Instagram account, The Shade Room, picked up on the post and reposted it.

This turned the created a wildfire of comments in reaction to it.

Ariana joined in by posting her own comment, "Hi hi," she wrote. "I think her intention was to be like… yay a white person disassociating the negative stereotype [sic] that is paired with the word ‘weave'… however, I'm so sorry my response was out of pocket or if it came across the wrong way. Thanks for opening the conversation and like… to everyone for talking to me about it. It's never my intention to offend anybody."
