The Pit Bull Federation of South Africa has released a lengthy article via their social media platforms in an attempt to educate the public in response to the ongoing heated conversations around the power breed.
On 26 September, Nuku was mauled to death by two family-owned Pit Bulls in Gelvandale, Gqeberha. Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says police were called to the house in Antia Drive around 1:15 pm. When police arrived at the scene, they were forced to shoot and kill the two dogs. Colonel Naidu says Storm died on the scene.
The tragic incident has once again ignited the conversation around the breed.
