Kristen Bell will revive her role as Veronica Mars in the show titled Veronica Mars on Hulu.
The first time the cult classic appeared on television screens was in 2004. It premiered on UPN and enjoyed 3 seasons, with the last season running on CW.
The show is known for being a feminist crime-drama and 14 years ago it shared topics such as income inequality, immigration, sexual assault, technology and privacy, startups and social accountability, and more. Topics that are still very relevant today, which is likely the reason why Hulu decided to resurrect the show.
The show didn't enjoy hit ratings when it first aired, but this time round with Hulu, it may just work.
The new season will begin in 2019 and will be eight episodes long.
Even though Kristen is currently acting in The Good Place she will reclaim her role as Veronica Mars.
