A Copenhagen shopping mall gunman fatally shot three people on Sunday afternoon hours before Styles was to take to the stage at the nearby Royal Arena venue as part of his Love On Tour string of dates.
Forced to cancel the performance, he took to social media writing that he was “heartbroken” over the news. He went on to say. “I adore this city. The people are so warm and full of love. I’m devastated for the victims, their families, and everyone hurting. I’m sorry we couldn’t be together. Please look after each other. H.”

In addition to the three deaths, four shoppers were seriously injured in the attack. According to Sky News police say they arrested a suspect within 11 minutes of being called to the Fields shopping center near Copenhagen.
It seems that the gunman was acting alone and had selected his victims at random. The motive at this stage is unclear. Police say the suspect is a 22-year-old "ethnic Dane" man.
