Golden Globe film snubs include: Sam Elliott


2018 was supposed to be Sam Elliott's year.

The actor was praised for his role in 'A Star is Born'.

Sam plays Jackson Maine’s brother Bobby, someone who has been more of a father figure to Jackson, played by Bradley Cooper, supporting him in the best of times and also the worst.

However, the 2019 Golden Globe awards overlooked this role and many others, creating a huge upset for most.

This year film's like "First Man" that many rated as an underperformance earned the following nominations, Best Supporting Actress: Claire Foy and  Best Score: Justin Hurwitz 

On the other hand Ryan Gosling was overlooked for his leading performance.
