Earlier this year Gareth Cliff won a court case against M-Net to hold on to his position as a SA Idol Judge. The news was well covered and many Twitter follower expressed the support and dislike of the decision.
After all of that, Cliff took to Facebook yesterday and announced his resignation from the popular reality show.
"It’s time! After eleven seasons of Idols, it’s time for me to say goodbye. What better way to bring this chapter to a close than a trip to New York and meeting American Idols judge Harry Connick Jr and being on his post-Idols show - 'Harry... What's next? Watch this space."
So what is next for Gareth Cliff? We not sure. The last time he resigned from a position that placed him in the spotlight, he created CliffCentral. So there's no telling what he'll be doing next.
