It was a night to remember for GoT fans in New York as they descended on Radio City Music Hall in their droves to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars and watch the eighth and final season premiere of the epic fantasy series Game of Thrones.
On Wednesday night the hugely popular actors of the show gathered on the red carpet prior to the screening. The only star missing was Lena Haedly who said on Instagram that she was battling a bout of flu. Members of the public who were at the premiere were, of course, sworn to secrecy after viewing the first episode! GoT is set to air on the 14 April.
PS! Such is the anticipation for this final season, that New Yorkers, woke during the week to a giant Iron Throne at Rockefeller Plaza. Fans were quick to post pictures of the impressive structure on social media.
