She told the publication, 'I've been meaning to grow it for years, but I'm recently single'.I’ve been in a relationship and I guess I was programmed to think that I should probably shave for the benefit of both parties”.
'It’s been quite an underwhelming realisation that there’s no drama in it. It’s just there. I’m hoping it’s on the path to becoming normal.'

Emma reveals to Glamour that the topic of body image took on a new meaning for her while playing Lady Di at the height of her battle with bulimia. She said,'Diana’s bulimia was a way of purging all the emotion that she didn't know how to control.'
