The UK’s ‘Channel 5’ will be airing a documentary tonight Thursday 22nd June about the missing Titanic tour submersible.
Called ‘Titanic Sub: Lost at Sea’, the live special will feature interviews with experts who will unpack the science behind the vessel, Titan, and also provide an in-depth analysis of the situation in which the five people on board now find themselves.
The five are the CEO and founder of OceanGate Expeditions Stockton Rush, British billionaire explorer Hamish Harding, renowned French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet and Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman Dawood.
Conditions are cramped inside the craft - it is just 263 inches x 110 inches x 98 inches in size. The vessel lost contact with its surface crew on Sunday, June 18 as it was exploring the underwater gravesite of the Titanic.
It is reportedly impossible to escape from as the passengers are bolted into the belly of the underwater craft.
