The devastated family of the much loved Binnelanders TV actor has confirmed the passing of Olivier on the 20th of July at the Life Flora Hospital in Johannesburg.
Their statement to the media read: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bradley Terence Olivier. Bradley died peacefully today 20 July 2023 at the Life Flora Hospital in Johannesburg.
“Although Bradley’s life ended before we were ready, the time that he spent in our lives was memorable and full of joy. Bradley lit up every room he entered with his smile, laugh, and incredible personality.”
On the official Binnelanders Instagram page it was announced on the 19th of July that Olivier had been admitted to the hospital on Monday 17th of July and was on life support. The family extended their “deepest gratitude to the medical professionals who cared for Bradley during this challenging time”.
No cause of death has been announced and the family has asked the public to resist speculation and grant them privacy as they grieve their loss.

Olivier is best known for his role as paramedic Danny Jantjies in Binnelanders, where he had been part of the cast on the kykNET soapie for at least eight years.
