Anyone who colours their hair will be open to any suggestions as to how to extend the time between touch-ups as it can be an expensive and time-consuming exercise. Well here’s a suggestion from our very own Charlize Theron.
Admitting that she did not have time to have her roots touched up before the Screen Actors Guild Awards, she had her stylist Adir Abergel create a tiny plait along her parting and then hand stitch a diamond tennis bracelet from Tiffany's into it!
Yes, we know - a little beyond the average person’s reach but what was interesting to see is that a root regrowth now appears to be ‘in'. There does not seem to be any need to try and disguise it, as illustrated in Charlize's case, don't disguise it, highlight it or just wear the root regrowth boldly. In fact, if you watched the Screen Actors Guild Awards event, you would have seen that there were quite a few celebrities sporting an obvious root regrowth. It remains to be seen if that will still be the case on Oscar night.
Adir gave fans of his 'futuristic' look a short close up of how he attached the diamonds…...Charlize did admit on her Instagram page that getting the diamonds out at the end of the evening was a bit of a mission!
