Since its release Bombshell has received much critical acclaim and Charlize has said that playing the role of real-life journalist Megyn Kelly has been one of the “highlights of her career”.
She posted her heartfelt thanks to the Academy on Twitter.
Congratulations from Mzansi Charlize, break a leg on the 9th of February!
Making BOMBSHELL is one of the great highlights of my career. Thank you to my fellow producers, our incredible director Jay Roach and our brilliant screenwriter Charles Randolph, and a multi-talented group of actors and artists who gave 100% of themselves in making this film.
