The UK has virtually come to a grinding halt as temperatures soar across the country putting the Brits on the path to recording their highest temperature ever.
On Saturday Britain's government held a meeting of its emergency committee, known as Cobra, after the country's national weather service issued its first-ever “red warning” for extreme heat for Monday and Tuesday. Forecasters have warned that the heat wave could cause a “danger to life.”
People have been warned to stay at home and overground and underground lines have been suspended. London is expected to be hotter today than the Sahara Dessert.

According to Inews the current high temperatures being recorded across the UK are more than likely climate change in action.
