Bonang Matheba's social media documentary gets SA premiere date

Bonang Matheba will be debuting her first documentary film, the award winning Public Figure, at the  21st Encounters South African International Documentary Festival, currently on in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

The documentary-film takes an in depth look at psychological effects of everyday social media use while also exploring how  influencers cope with the fame, hate and obsession that comes with the territory.

Just last week she was honoured with the Award for Inspiration and Influence at the Global Social Awards in Prague.

Public Figure will go on sale internationally on June 18 and will be available for purchase or rental through Amazon and iTunes.
