Bonang Matheba's very first movie, Public Figure, has debuted at the Manchester Film Festival and according to the star herself, the festival-goers loved it.
Bonang produced and starred in the movie which is all about the pros and cons fo social media and the very real possibility of becoming addicted to it. The documentary also delves into careers that have been launched through social media and the power that personalities can wield in the social media domain.
The fifth edition of the festival took place from 2 to 10 March, with over 150 films screened at the event.
Gravitas Ventures has picked up the worldwide rights to “Public Figure,” which is directed by Brian Corso.
