Rumours of AKA and Bonang dating first surfaced in December 2015, but when the relationship first became official is still unknown. The Citizen quotes a reminiscing Bonang who claims that she first knew she and AKA were in a relationship when she found herself at his home. She recalled AKAs saying: "I really want to be with you and I?m going to protect you, I?m going to protect us and I?m going to fight for us because this is what I really, really want. From that moment on I was like, this is my man, this is what I asked God for, a partner you appreciate and respect, somebody who respects you.?
This may confirm the bond the two share, but we all know how complicated relationships can be, which is why when the couple were asked about when Bonang would be introduced to Kairo, AKA responded with this: ?All in good time. I think it comes down to the readiness of myself? Bonang and Kairo?s mother.?
