The 20-year-old American singer/ songwriter has kicked off her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour, and has announced that the six-month trip will be climate-positive.

As part of a partnership with REVERB, an organization working to make the music industry greener, the tour will eliminate more emissions than it creates.

The organization also stated in their post that they will be at the Billie Eilish Action Village during shows to help fans take action to help climate change and promote climate justice.

The State Farm Arena was in on the action too saying, " We teamed up with  @billieeilish and @LiveNation to achieve the first ‘Zero Waste’ sold-out event on Billie Eilish’s ‘Happier Than Ever, The World Tour’! Approximately 92% of fan-generated waste was diverted for her sold-out show on Sat, Feb 5."

In addition to being passionate about the environment, Eilish is a committed activist for animal rights and veganism and in 2021 was named PETA’s ‘Person  of the Year.’
