The BeyHive is abuzz over the announcement of the Renaissance World Tour.
Tina Knowles-Lawson and her husband, Richard Lawson held the annual WACO Theater’s Wearable Art Gala, on 22 October. In true Beyoncé style, the Renaissance World tour was unexpectedly announced as one of the auction items of the night.

The tour announcement was a part of a tour package which was an auction item at the gala. The package consists of two first class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay and two tickets to any tour destination around the world. A bonus to the package includes a backstage tour from Tina Knowles-Lawson.
Daily Mail reports that bidding for the auction item reached $150 000 (approximately R2 735 587,50).
Even though ticket prices and exact dates have not yet been revealed to the public, the tour is reported to start next year in June/July.
