Kim Kardashian West has taken to Twitter to share the good news of the release of a prisoner who had been incarcerated for two decades for a low-level drug offence.
The reality TV star has made it her personal mission to reform the American criminal justice system and funded the lawyers in support of the prisoner's release.
Taking to Twitter, she said: "We did it again! Had the best call w/this lovely family & my attorney @msbkb who just won release for their loved one Jeffrey in Miami. He served 22 years of a life sentence for a low-level drug case. He served too much time but it gives me so much joy to fund this life-saving work. (sic)"
Kim is now studying law, having successfully already passed her tort exam. Her father Robert George Kardashian was the American attorney and businessman who gained national recognition as O. J. Simpson's friend and defence attorney during Simpson's 1995 murder trial.
