Beckham, a four-part Netflix docuseries about the world-famous ex-footballer David Beckham, has proved to be hugely popular with viewers racking up 12.4 million views during its first week in Netflix’s English category.
The four-part series covers David Beckham’s childhood, his Manchester United fame, and his personal life, including the highs and lows in his relationship with ex-Spice girl Victoria Beckham.
However, one viewer who is not happy about how she is portrayed in the series is Rebecca Loos. She was catapulted into the spotlight after claiming in 2004 that she had had an affair with the footballer during her time as his personal assistant. Watching the limited series has opened up old wounds for Loos who refuses to be branded a liar.
She told Sky News that Beckham is "portraying himself as the victim" and making her "look like a liar." The former English football captain has always denied the alleged affair with Loos.
The 49-year-old former model and media personality is now happily married with two children, teaches yoga, and works as a medical assistant in Norway.
The documentary series is available to stream on Netflix now.
