It is reported that Charles Grodin died peacefully at the age of 86 in his home.
The actor suffered from bone marrow cancer.
Before becoming an on screen actor, Grodin made a name for himself in Broadway in the early 1960s.
He starred in films like “Midnight Run” alongside Robert Di Nero and the 1976 remake of King Kong.
In the 1990’s he also hosted his very own talk show called, “The Charles Grodin Show” and
made frequent appearances on shows like the “David Letterman Show” and the “Jay Leno Show”.
American comedian Steve Martin shared his condolences on Twitter saying, “So sad to hear that. He was one of the funniest people I've ever met.”
