Fans have left the @sussexroyal account in droves following the couple’s public attacks on the Royal Family over the past year. Harry and Meghan have lost 700,000 Instagram followers in the last year while William and Kate have gained one million. That's got to hurt.
According to the US Sun just 66 percent of the Sussexes’ 10.1million Instagram followers are thought to be people. According to data from analysts Hypeauditor, some three million are likely to be what are called bots that “mass follow” big-name social media accounts.
William and Kate now have 13 million followers and The Queen’s @theroyalfamily account gained 1.3million in the last year.
Royal author Angela Levin said of Harry and Meghan: “They tell people to be compassionate yet neither are compassionate towards their own families.”
There have also been numerous complaints about their hypocrisy, they talk about climate change yet jet around the globe at the drop of a hat. It was reported last week that Prince Harry took a private jet flight to his home in Santa Barbara from Aspen Colorado after a polo match - a couple of months ago he was lecturing us all on the dangers of climate change.
His post on Instagram omitted to mention this fact – it would seem that we should all do as the Suxxesses say and not as they do!
