Former President Jacob Zuma is blasting back at the State Capture Commission, accusing it of being part of a political game.
Zuma released a strongly worded letter of 12 pages on social media on Monday night, in which he says his defiance not to appear before the
State Capture Commission is not out of disrespect for the rule of law, but rather because he believes some judges have been compromised.
Zuma calls his statement – the final one.
It was released hours after a day of drama at the State Capture Commission that started with the former president not appearing to continue his testimony.
The Commission is now returning to the Constitutional Court to seek an order that Zuma is guilty of contempt of Court.
But Zuma made it clear on Monday he is not about to change his mind.
He said his actions should be seen as a protest against a biased and corrupt legal system and backroom political decisions to make him Enemy Number One.
