Zuma meets with Cele

President Jacob Zuma has met with suspended police commissioner, Bheki Cele in Durban.

Cele's spokesperson, Vuyo Mkhize says the two met on Friday.

Mkhize says Cele wrote to Zuma on May 27 to request a meeting, and Zuma responded on June 6.

Last week, media reports said Cele had in fact been fired, but the Presidency refused to comment on what it called "rumours".
