President Jacob Zuma has broken his silence on the Public Protector's report on Nkandla, saying that he's done nothing wrong.
Speaking during an election campaign in Cape Town this weekend, Zuma said he did not ask for the multi-million rand state-funded makeover of his private house at Nkandla.
Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, found that Zuma had unduly benefited from the more than R200 million spent on the security upgrades at his private residence in Nkandla.
Meanwhile, the Star quoted Madonsela on Monday as saying that she's under attack from ANC leaders over Nkandla report because they want to hold on to their lucrative jobs.
She reportedly told the newspaper that she's learnt to accept that people are doing what they think they need to do to get into positions after the elections.
