Zimbabwean arrested with R5 m perlemoen

A Zimbabwean national has been arrested after police found R5m worth of perlemoen in his truck.

Police spokesperson November Filander says they bust the 32 year old man in Kayalitsha yesterday.

He says members of the Mitchells Plain tactical response unit seized more than 5-thousand units of perlemoen packed in plastic bags.

The suspect will appear in court on Monday.
