Wounded poacher dies in hospital

A rhino poacher wounded in a shootout in Ndumo in KwaZulu-Natal has died in hospital.
Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife spokesperson Musa Mntambo says the suspect passed away Wednesday night.
He was wounded in a shootout with the wildlife's anti-poaching unit Wednesday morning.
Two poachers escaped and have not yet been found.
