A 56-year-old manager of a funeral parlour has been arrested after raping his fellow 30-year-old employee in Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Leonard Hlathi, says the woman was about to knock off from work when he requested her to go and buy groceries on Thursday afternoon.
He says when she returned from the store she found that all her colleagues had gone home except the manager who then locked the main door immediately as she entered the building.
It is believed that she stormed to the bathroom and phoned her husband to alert him of what was happening.
Hlathi says after going back to her office, the man, who is believed to have raped her twice last year, proceeded to rape her again.
Police acted swiftly to the arrest the suspect, who is expected to appear in the Bushbuckridge Magistrates court on Friday.
