An official from SASSA, who allegedly got her job with a fake matric certificate, has been arrested for fraud.
Alina Dimakatso Nkwanyana Selepe applied for a job as an administration team leader in 2006 and to date has received salaries of over R4 million.
Selepe made her first appearance in the Nelspruit Magistrates Court on Monday where she was released on bail of R3 000.
The office where she works in Volksrust was vetted in December and the Department of Education confirmed that her qualifications were fake.
The matter was postponed to the 26th of March.
