A 51-year-old woman accused of conspiring to kill her husband has abandoned her bid for bail.
Kelebogile Mokoena appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Thursday in connection with her husband’s death.
She was arrested shortly after the murder when police positively linked her to the death of 51-year-old Lucas Ntau Mokoena.
The well-known businessman and upcoming farmer was shot by two men at his house in Fichardtpark last week, moments after getting out of his shower.
His wife, who was also in the bedroom, was unharmed.
The case was postponed until the 8th of August for further investigation.
