A man, allegedly found in possession of cocaine with an estimated street value of R350 00 at the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
Hawks spokesperson, Captain Paul Ramaloko says the case against 46-year old Nico Jansen van Vuuren was postponed until the 28th of March for further investigation.
He says wheelchair-bound Janse van Vuuren was arrested minutes after he arrived in the country from Dubai on Tuesday.
Ramaloko says two packets of cocaine were found in the back pockets of each of nine pairs of jeans in his suitcase.
He says Janse van Vuuren is a regular traveller and is believed to be part of a bigger syndicate with international links dealing in drugs.
