Police in the Western Cape have arrested a 47-year-old suspect following the discovery of a drug facility at Three Fountains Estate outside Cape Town
Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Philani Nkwalase says the arrest follows a joint operation between the Hawks' Narcotics Enforcement Bureau, Crime Intelligence and Metro police.
He says the team swiftly responded to information received and embarked on a search and seize operation.
Nkwalase says members uncovered a hydroponic dagga lab and a massive production of magic mushrooms, all with a combined value of one million rand.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Atlantis Magistrates Court on Thursday.
