Police in the Free State are searching for a man who killed an elderly woman and her employee on their farm "Dankbaarheid" in Bethlehem in 2014.
Thapelo Samuel Mokoena, who often goes by the surname Mlangeni was part of a group who killed the 72-year-old Johanna Cathrina van Niekerk and her 43-year-old worker Tororo Tsholo.
Mokoena and his accomplices fatally shot Cathrina and Tororo and left another employee seriously wounded.
Police Spokesperson Brigadier MS Makhele says Mokoena escaped from the holding cells on the 27th of July 2005, a day before sentencing.
Mokoena has been on the run ever since.
Brigadier Makhele says it is believed that he could be in the Carltonville area in Gauteng.
Anybody who might know of his whereabouts is asked to contact their local police.
