Transport Unions say wage talks in the bus industry have deadlocked, with the possibility of a strike in April.
Negotiations between unions and industry associations began towards the end of January, and deadlocked on the 19th of February.
A mediation meeting was held last week after which the unions declared a dispute.
The SA Transport and Allied Workers' Union (Satawu) and the Transport and Omnibus Workers' Union (Towu) say in a joint statement that should the 30-day cooling period lapse without a solution, all workers in the bus industry will embark on strike action on the 14th of April.
The unions urged the industry associations to find consensus.
