Six men handed themselves over to police in Polokwane following Sunday's violent acts of vandalism at two Vodacom shops at the Mall of the North.
Police Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo did not want to comment on the suspects' political affiliation nor did he want to speculate on the motive.
The suspects aged between 25 and 45 will appear in court on Thursday afternoon.
The damage caused by Sunday's incident is estimated to be R900 000.00
Mojapelo says more arrests are expected.
The incident was trending on social media with allegations that the suspects were members of the EFF who took offence to something Vodacom did during the Journalist of the Year awards in Johannesburg.
